Terms of Service

These Terms set out the conditions for using the tourist spot portal site (the "Service") provided by Matatabi Inc. ("we," "us," or the "Company"). All users must use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

1. Anyone wishing to use the Service shall agree to these Terms and apply for registration by the method designated by the Company. Registration is complete when the Company approves the application.

2. The Company may decline to approve an application for registration if it determines that any of the following applies to the applicant, and shall have no obligation to disclose the reasons.

• The applicant provided false information when applying for registration
• The application is from a person who has previously violated these Terms
• Any other case in which the Company deems registration inappropriate

1. Users shall properly manage their account information for the Service at their own responsibility.

2. Under no circumstances may users transfer or lend their account information to, or share it with, any third party.

3. Users shall be responsible for any damage arising from inadequate management of account information, errors in use, use by third parties, or the like.

1. Users may post information about tourist spots through the Service.

2. Users represent and warrant to the Company that they hold the lawful rights to post or otherwise transmit the content they post, and that the posted content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

3. Copyright in posted content belongs to the user who posted it. However, users grant the Company, free of charge, the right to use the posted content within the Service.

When using the Service, users shall not engage in any of the following conduct:

• Conduct that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals
• Conduct related to criminal acts
• Conduct that infringes the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of the Company, other users of the Service, or third parties
• Posting false or misleading information
• Placing an excessive load on the network or systems of the Service
• Conduct that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorized access
• Collecting or storing personal information about other users
• Using the Service for improper purposes
• Directly or indirectly providing benefits to antisocial forces
• Any other conduct the Company deems inappropriate

The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if it determines that any of the following applies:

• Maintenance, inspection, or updating of the computer systems related to the Service
• Provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
• Computers or communication lines stop due to an accident
• Any other case in which the Company determines that providing the Service is difficult

If a user falls under any of the following, the Company may, without prior notice, restrict that user's use of all or part of the Service or cancel the user's registration:

• The user violates any provision of these Terms
• Any registered information is found to be false
• Any other case in which the Company deems the user's use of the Service inappropriate

1. The Company makes no warranty, express or implied, that the Service is free of factual or legal defects (including defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, or security, as well as errors, bugs, and infringement of rights).

2. The Company shall not be liable for any damage incurred by users arising from the Service. However, this disclaimer does not apply if the agreement between the Company and a user regarding the Service constitutes a consumer contract as defined in the Consumer Contract Act of Japan.

The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue the Service without notice to users, and shall not be liable for any damage incurred by users as a result.

The Company may change these Terms at any time without notice to users when it deems necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on this site.

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

2. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office.
