About this spot
Funabashi Andersen Park in Funabashi is a theme-park-style park that enjoys nationwide popularity. Its vast grounds of about 38 hectares are divided into five areas, making it an ideal spot for families and couples on weekends as well as for solo strolls. The main attraction is the "Athletic," one of the largest such courses in Japan. With several courses by difficulty level, adults and children alike can truly get their bodies moving. Meanwhile, the "Fairy Tale Hill" area recreates a Danish countryside of the 1800s. The scenery of windmills and farmhouses built by craftsmen from Denmark, adorned with beautiful flowers through the seasons, offers a photogenic experience that feels like traveling abroad. The "Children's Art Museum," which can be enjoyed even on rainy days, offers a rich variety of creative activities such as woodworking and pottery. With restaurants and picnic areas as well, you can spend the whole day without getting bored. Blending nature, play, art, and an exotic atmosphere, it is a leading leisure spot in Chiba Prefecture.
