Located on Mt. Kano in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, "Mother Farm" is a soothing paradise surrounded by nature and animals, about 2 hours from central Tokyo. On the vast grounds, adorable animals such as sheep, cows, and alpacas live at leisure, and exciting events are held every day, including feeding experiences, horseback riding, and the "Great Sheep Parade," in which 150 sheep dash by all at once. The "Mother Farm Tour DX," in which you ride a tractor to see behind the scenes of the farm, is hugely popular as a rare experience found only here. Seasonal flowers are also a highlight, with the rapeseed blossoms of spring and petunias of summer coloring the entire slope in a spectacular scene. The farm also offers an amusement park with a Ferris wheel and thrilling activities such as bungee jumping. Enjoying the rich farm-made soft serve and homemade Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), it is perfect for a special holiday with family, friends, or someone dear.
