About this spot
Oasis 21, in Sakae at the heart of Nagoya, is a multipurpose complex with an eye-catching futuristic design. The main highlight is the glass roof floating in the air, the "Spaceship Aqua." A pathway runs around its perimeter, where you can enjoy a cool aerial stroll 14 meters above ground, looking out over Sakae's cityscape including the Nagoya TV Tower (Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER). On the ground level spreads a lawn plaza called the "Earth of Greenery," and in the underground "Galaxy Plaza," various seasonal events are held. The facility also has plenty of restaurants and character shops, making it ideal for shopping with friends, holiday outings with family, and dates. At night in particular, the Spaceship Aqua is magically illuminated and transforms into a photogenic night view spot. Free admission makes it easy to drop in for a break from sightseeing or as an evening stroll.
