Shigisan Nodoka-mura is a vast hands-on agricultural park near Mt. Shigi in Nara Prefecture. With the concept of a "village of rich natural beauty," it lets you enjoy a variety of harvesting experiences throughout the year. The park's main attraction is its seasonal fruit picking. Strawberries, grapes, blueberries, sweet potato digging, and seasonal vegetable picking are all available, and harvesting with your own hands is the biggest appeal. There is also a wide range of activities, including a BBQ house where you can come empty-handed, pizza-making in an authentic stone oven, field athletics, and feeding goats and sheep.
