About this spot
Located within Wakayama Marina City, "Porto Europa" is a theme park with an exotic atmosphere themed on a medieval European port town. Made up of three areas inspired by a French town hall, an Italian fishing village and a Spanish castle, its elaborately built cobblestones and walls give an immersive feeling, as if you had wandered into the real Europe. The biggest appeal is that, despite such authentic locations, you can stroll with "free admission." There are photogenic spots everywhere, making it ideal for girls' trips and dates visiting photo spots. Of course, it also has plenty of attractions such as dynamic water slides and merry-go-rounds, so families with children won't get bored all day. Next to the park are the "Kuroshio Market," where you can enjoy tuna-cutting shows, and "Kishu Kuroshio Onsen," with its superb open-air baths.
