ABOUT
About this spot
Zushi Beach is known for its gentle waves and shallow terrain and is affectionately called "Half Mile Beach." Located about an hour by train from central Tokyo, it offers a beautiful sandy beach and an overwhelming sense of openness. On clear days you can see majestic Mt. Fuji beyond Enoshima, and the panoramic view at dusk is breathtakingly beautiful. It is also very popular as a photogenic spot. In summer it bustles with swimmers, and throughout the year people gather for marine sports such as windsurfing and SUP (stand-up paddleboarding). The area has many stylish cafes and restaurants, and relaxed lunch or tea time in the sea breeze is also recommended. From water play with family to activities with friends or refreshing time alone, it is a beach spot representing Shonan that satisfies any purpose.
