Glicopia East is a hands-on factory tour facility where you can have fun learning how Japan's iconic snacks, Pocky and Pretz, are made. On the guided tour, you can watch through glass as snacks come off the production lines one after another on Pocky Street and Pretz Street (on weekends the Pocky line does not run, so you will watch a video instead). There are also plenty of corners that will bring back memories even for adults, such as the "College Hall," where you can learn the history of Glico, and a museum displaying Glico toys through the years. In the "Stadium Hall," a quiz challenge lets you compete in a fun test of your snack knowledge. In addition, on weekends and holidays only (elementary school age and older, reservation by phone), the paid Giant Pocky Decoration Experience lets you make your own original Pocky. Reservations are required, so book in advance and explore this exciting world of sweets with family and friends.
