ABOUT

About this spot

Beloved as a symbol of Kobe Port, Kobe Port Tower has become an even more advanced sightseeing spot after its 2024 renovation. Its defining feature is its graceful form, the world's first pipe structure modeled on the Japanese drum known as the "tsuzumi." From the observation floors, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama with the Rokko mountain range to the north and the expansive Kobe Port to the south. In particular, the newly built rooftop deck, the "Brilliance Tiara Open-air Deck," offers sweeping views of Kobe from an open-air space and is extremely popular as a photo spot. At night it is illuminated, romantically coloring the whole harbor. The building also houses a revolving cafe and bar and a range of distinctive shops, making it ideal for gazing at the view alone as well as for dates and family trips. A must-see classic spot where the history and modern sensibility of the port city of Kobe come together.
