ABOUT
About this spot
Sanuki Mannou National Government Park is the only national government park in Shikoku, spread along the shore of Mannou-ike, Japan's largest agricultural reservoir. With a vast area of about 350 hectares, it offers plenty of activities that families and friends can enjoy all day throughout the year. The seasonal flowers that color the park are a must-see, with photogenic scenery such as spring tulips and nemophila, and autumn cosmos and kochia. There is also large play equipment popular with children and "Hot! Stay Mannou," one of Shikoku's largest auto campgrounds, so it also suits outdoor lovers. In particular, the winter illumination "Winter Fantasy" fills the vast land with light on an overwhelming scale, drawing many visitors from inside and outside the prefecture. With picnics on the spacious lawn and cycling on rental bicycles, it is a recommended spot for a wide range of people, from age 18 to the 60s, who want to forget the bustle of daily life and refresh.
