ABOUT
About this spot
Umeda Sky Building is a landmark of Osaka, selected as one of the "world's top 20 buildings" for its unique shape. Its greatest attraction is the "Floating Garden Observatory" 173 m above ground. The circular observatory connecting the top of the two towers has an open-air structure with an open rooftop, letting you enjoy a 360-degree panorama while feeling a pleasant breeze. During the day, an open view stretches from the Osaka Plain to the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and at dusk you can enjoy the beautiful sunset selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Sunsets. At night, the path at your feet shines like a starry sky, and together with the urban night view created by the surrounding buildings, it creates a very romantic atmosphere. The building also has cafes with superb views and a gallery, making it ideal for couples' dates, family trips, solo refreshment, and strolls with a camera in hand. It is a moving experience not to be missed when sightseeing in Osaka.
