Purchase the special tasting cup, the "tastevin," and you can sample around 200 kinds of wine recommended by Koshu City to your heart's content. Searching for your favorite bottle, from sweet to dry, is pure bliss. The views from the hilltop location are also not to be missed. The on-site hot spring facility "Tenku no Yu" has been closed for renovation since October 13, 2026 (please check the official website for the reopening date). From the hill, you can see the Kofu Basin and the Southern Alps by day, and by night the beautiful city lights, which were selected as one of the "New Three Great Night Views of Japan." At the restaurant, you can enjoy authentic French and Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients alongside Katsunuma wine, making it ideal for a special meal with friends or family. The souvenir corner is also well stocked, with a wide selection of local specialties and sweets as well as wine. With accommodation on site, it is recommended for anyone, from solo travelers to groups, who wants to savor the bounty of Yamanashi at a leisurely pace all day.
