ABOUT
About this spot
Located almost in the center of Hokkaido, Furano Ski Resort is a leading snow resort that draws skiers and snowboarders from around the world. Its greatest appeal is the spectacular scenery, with a panorama of the Tokachidake mountain range over the Furano Basin, along with the light powder snow typical of an inland location. The resort is divided into two areas, the Furano Zone and the Kitanomine Zone, with 28 courses in all that satisfy everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. Some courses have hosted FIS World Cup races many times, making it an ideal choice for those who want serious skiing. Operated by Prince Hotels, it is also extremely convenient. Free lift tickets every day for elementary school children and younger are a generous service and a great help for family trips. After skiing, we recommend shopping at the enchanting, lantern-lit Ningle Terrace and warming up in the natural hot spring "Shisai no Yu." Whether you come with friends, as a couple, or want to ski seriously on your own, it is a spot where you can fully enjoy winter in Hokkaido.
