ABOUT
About this spot
Bios Hill is a nature-harmonizing botanical garden themed on Okinawa's rich subtropical nature. Orchids bloom beautifully all year round across the vast grounds, and walking paths continue as if you had wandered into a jungle. The most popular attraction is the "lake sightseeing boat," which glides gently across Tairyuike pond, shaped like a dragon. While listening to the boatman's fun commentary, you can observe the animals and plants that live along the water up close. For those who want to be active, the giant wooden swing in the plaza and a tour of the park by water buffalo cart are recommended. With a goat petting corner and wooden athletic course as well, it is also perfect for family trips with children. For adults who want to quietly enjoy nature, canoe experiences and strolls breathing in the forest air are recommended. It is a spot where you can forget the noise and spend the relaxed time that is truly Okinawan. Take photos together with friends or come alone to take a deep breath, and spend your holiday just as you please.
