Shikoku Aquarium, opened in 2020, is an aquarium themed on "Shikoku's water scenery." You can experience the charm of the diverse watery worlds surrounding Shikoku, including the Seto Inland Sea, the Pacific Ocean, and the clear streams of the Shikoku mountains, through exhibits as beautiful as art. The top attraction is the live show at the "Dolphin Pool" set against the Seto Inland Sea. Its infinity-style design makes the pool appear connected to the sea, and the performance at dusk is breathtakingly beautiful. Exhibits utilizing the region's characteristics are scattered throughout, such as the "Pacific Ocean Tank," the largest in Shikoku, and the powerful "Uzushio no Kei" (Whirlpool View) recreating the Naruto whirlpools. The interior has a clean, modern design, with cafes and shops also available. Since the facility is mainly indoors, you can spend relaxed time regardless of the weather, whether on a date, family trip, or solo trip.
