Maiko Snow Resort has very good access from central Tokyo and is a base for winter leisure that can be enjoyed fully as a day trip or an overnight stay. The slopes are divided into three areas: the Maiko Area, with many gentle slopes ideal for beginners and families; the Nagamine Area, with superb views from the summit and plenty of intermediate courses; and the Okusoe Area, where you can enjoy ungroomed powder and steep slopes. With 26 courses to choose from according to your level, there is plenty of variety. The facilities are also excellent. The Day-Trip Ski Center, directly connected to the slopes, has the natural hot spring "Maiko Onsen Iizu no Yu" to warm your chilled body, a spacious food court, a nursery, and even nap rooms. There is also a snow park for small children who do not ski or snowboard, so three generations can enjoy it together. We confidently recommend this resort to people of all ages, from 18 to 60, who want to casually experience real snowy mountains on a winter weekend.
