Rina World in Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture, is one of Tohoku's largest amusement parks, surrounded by lush nature. The park has about 30 attractions, from thrilling full-scale roller coasters to merry-go-rounds that even small children can enjoy safely. The area featuring Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty is especially unique to Rina World. With cute attractions and plenty of photo spots, it is perfect for girls' trips and dates. In summer, the outdoor pool Rina Beach also opens and draws big crowds. The spacious grounds also have restaurants and shops, so you can spend the whole day leisurely. It is a classic Yamagata sightseeing spot we heartily recommend to families wanting to make weekend memories and friends who want an active day of fun.
