ABOUT
About this spot
The Mt. Inasa Summit Observatory is one of the prefecture's leading sightseeing spots, offering a sweeping view of Nagasaki's beautiful cityscape from the 333-meter summit. The night view in particular has been selected as one of the 'New Three Great Night Views of the World' and the 'New Three Great Night Views of Japan,' and is called the '10 million dollar night view' for its beauty. The cylindrical observation tower, renewed in 2011, features a stylish all-glass design. On the rooftop deck, LED lights embedded in the floor shine, creating a magical atmosphere. By day you can enjoy a panoramic view reaching Unzen and the Goto Islands, and by night a spectacular scene of city lights sparkling like jewels. To reach the summit, the stylishly designed Nagasaki Ropeway and the slope car, with glass all around so you can enjoy the scenery as you ride, are popular. Inside the observatory is a restaurant where you can dine while gazing at the view. It is a place to spend special time in any scene, from dates and family trips to a solo trip as a treat to yourself.
