ABOUT

About this spot

The Mazda Museum, in Fuchu Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, is a popular spot not only for car lovers but also as an adult educational outing and for families. Inside, you can trace Mazda's trail of challenges from its founding in 1920 to the present and into the future, alongside classic cars of every era. The biggest highlight is the "U1 Assembly Line," where you can watch cars being assembled up close. The process in which parts are precisely fitted together one by one to complete a single car is overwhelmingly powerful. There are also plenty of corners that convey the engineers' passion, with concept car displays and introductions to collision safety technology and the unique "Kodo Design." There is also a display zone where you can sit in the latest models, so everyone from adults to children can enjoy it without getting bored. Admission is free, but reservations are required. When sightseeing in Hiroshima, be sure to make a reservation and experience the essence of Japanese craftsmanship.
