ABOUT

About this spot

Making use of the vast grounds of the Nasu Highlands, Nasu Safari Park is a hands-on safari park where you can observe wild animals in their natural state up close. Its main feature is the "Safari Cruising," touring the park in your own car, a rental car or the Lion Bus. The overwhelming presence of lions and tigers approaching your window, and giraffes and zebras bringing their faces close looking for food, will excite and move even adults to cry out. The white lions, rare even in Japan, are a must-see, and you can enjoy their divine appearance at close range. The "Night Safari," held for a limited period, lets you watch nocturnal animals being active and enjoy a thrilling adventure different from daytime. In the "Fureai Hiroba" (petting area) you can also interact with adorable small animals such as capybaras and rabbits, making it ideal for families as well as drives and dates with friends. Why not spend a special day refreshing body and mind through direct exchanges with animals in the rich nature of Nasu?
