Hakuba Iwatake at an altitude of 1,289 m, Hakuba Mountain Harbor is one of Japan's finest scenic terraces, with the Ushirotateyama range of the Northern Alps directly in front of you. In autumn you can experience the miraculous beauty of "three-tier autumn colors," where snow on the peaks, foliage on the mid-slopes and green at the foot overlap.
