ABOUT

About this spot

Straddling Koshigaya City and Saitama City in Saitama Prefecture, Shirakobato Water Park is a large prefectural leisure park named after the Eurasian collared dove (shirakobato), the prefectural bird. The star of summer is, without a doubt, the pool area, one of the largest in the prefecture. With nine kinds of pools, including a flowing pool, a wave pool, and a variety of thrilling slides, it bustles with families and couples. In particular, the "White Beach," one of the few in the prefecture, gives you a resort feel. The off-season is full of charm too. From autumn to spring, the flowing pool turns into a fishing spot where you can enjoy lure and fly fishing for rainbow trout and other fish. The free "Kobaton no Mori" area has large composite play structures and long slides, and is lively with many children on weekends. With a BBQ area, dog run, and bicycle plaza as well, it is an all-round spot where everyone from adults to children, and even pets, can spend an active day.
