Against the backdrop of Mt. Bukou, a symbol of Chichibu, this park is famous for the "Shibazakura Hill" that heralds the arrival of spring. From mid-April to early May, more than 400,000 moss phlox plants bloom, spreading a beautiful patchwork-like scene as if a carpet of flowers had been laid out. The photogenic view is a perfect destination for couples' dates, girls' trips, and solo trips. Inside the park is the "Fureai Farm" that gave the park its name, where you can see cute sheep up close, making it hugely popular with families with children. The athletic equipment at the Wanpaku Hiroba is also abundant, so you can stay active all day. The "Miharashi no Oka" overlooking the city is known as a spot with an excellent sense of openness. Bring a lunch for a picnic, or take a stroll after enjoying Chichibu cuisine nearby, and people of all ages can refresh in this attractive place.
