Sun Messe Nichinan, on the Nichinan Coast in Miyazaki Prefecture, is a park full of tropical charm where seven moai statues stand, the only ones in the world completely reproduced with permission from the Rapa Nui Council of Elders on Easter Island. The moai lined up on a broad hill overlooking the Pacific are overwhelmingly powerful. Each of the seven is said to have the power to raise your luck in areas such as 'work,' 'love' and 'health,' and the park bustles with visitors touching the statues and making wishes. Photo spots sure to look great on social media are scattered around the park, including the 'Sky Swing,' which sends you swinging out toward the sea, and the colorful 'Voyant (The Seer)' statue. There are also a center house exhibiting precious materials from around the world, a farm where you can meet grazing animals, and restaurants, so you can spend a leisurely day with family, friends or a partner.
