ABOUT
About this spot
Akiyoshidai Safari Land, adjacent to Akiyoshidai, Japan's largest karst plateau and the pride of Yamaguchi Prefecture, is a thrilling spot where you can watch wild animals roaming freely from inside your vehicle. In the main Safari Zone, you can see powerful animals such as lions, tigers and elephants up close from your private car or a dedicated bus. Especially popular is the dedicated feeding bus, "Wild Noriku-n." The experience of feeding carnivores such as lions directly is so intense that even adults can't help crying out. The "Petting Plaza" after you get out of your car is also well stocked, where you can touch and feed cute animals such as red pandas, capybaras and kangaroos. The adjoining amusement park has a Ferris wheel and attractions for kids, making it ideal for family trips as well as drives and dates with friends. With facilities that won't bore you even if you play all day, why not spend an extraordinary time with the animals?
