Akita Port Tower Selion is a 143-meter-tall tower beloved as the symbol of Akita Port. Its biggest draw is the free admission to the observation room 100 meters above ground. The 360-degree panoramic view takes in the vast Sea of Japan, the Oga Peninsula, the city of Akita, and even Mt. Chokai in the distance, and the sea at sunset and the factory night views are especially beautiful.
