ABOUT
About this spot
Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is a cultural and commercial complex housed in historic buildings constructed in the Meiji and Taisho eras as model national warehouses. While keeping the imposing brick exterior intact, the interior is lined with refined shops and restaurants that are very much Yokohama. Building No. 1 is a cultural facility with a hall and multipurpose spaces, while Building No. 2 is a commercial facility gathering live restaurants, beer restaurants, and lifestyle shops, so it can be enjoyed by everyone from families to couples and solo travelers. The events held through the seasons on the large event plaza are especially not to be missed. With the spring flower garden, the autumn Oktoberfest, and the winter Christmas market and ice skating rink, it is lively whenever you visit. At night the whole building is lit in orange, and together with the Minato Mirai night view it creates a dreamy atmosphere, making it a signature photo spot of Yokohama.
