About this spot

The Kawasaki City Fujiko F. Fujio Museum is a special place where you can immerse yourself in the world of the manga artist who created many masterpieces, including Doraemon. Inside, you can see a reproduction of the artist's actual work desk and many precious original drawings that can be seen nowhere else, bringing you close to the spirit in which his works were born. In the outdoor "Field," familiar characters and secret gadgets such as the Anywhere Door, drainage pipes and Piisuke are scattered about and enjoyed as great photo spots. The "F Theater," which screens original short animations, and the "Museum Café," with cute menu items themed on the characters, are also must-sees. Entry is by advance reservation only (with a designated date and time), so it never gets too crowded and you can enjoy a relaxed time. It is a warm museum for all generations, from adults who grew up with the works to children enjoying them today.
