About this spot
Kyushu Natural Animal Park African Safari in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, is one of Japan's largest safari parks, with a vast site of about 1.15 million square meters. The park is roughly divided into two areas, and in the "Safari Zone" in particular, you can observe large animals such as lions, cheetahs, and elephants living in near-wild conditions up close from your own car or a bus. The highlight is the "Jungle Bus." You can feed lions and bears directly through the wire mesh, an experience so powerful that even adults cannot help crying out. Meanwhile, in the "Fureai Zone," you can interact directly with lovable animals such as kangaroos and capybaras, making it a healing spot for families and couples. Indoor facilities such as the dog salon and cat salon are also plentiful, so you can enjoy all day regardless of the weather. Please come and enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary experience feeling the breath of animals in the great outdoors.
